“The National Science Foundation published an article showing that the average person has between 12,000 and 60,000 thoughts per day. Of those, 80% are negative and 95% are exactly the same repetitive thoughts as the day before. We’ve got about 16 waking hours each day. Take out the 95% of repeating & unconscious thoughts. That leaves us with 48 minutes of time to choose what to think about. Of these 48 minutes 37.4 are dedicated to negative thoughts and 9.6 minutes to positive thoughts. To correct this imbalance we need to up our positive thoughts by 15 minutes. This reverses the trend and gifting you more than 51% of conscious positive thoughts. ”
